I had to see Cool World because of someone mentioning it in this thread and I haven't seen it in ages. It was so good and just as great as I remembered. It is pretty timeless.

I also saw Starship Troopers 3

I like that they decided to bring back Rico after leaving him out of the second one.
I hope they continue to make more Starship Troopers I love the satirical feel of the news feed that plays throughout the movie. This time they focused on terrorism and religion at took shots at both of them with humor.

Didn't like it at all. Haven't seen a movie whos plot went this slow in a long time. The movie pretty much consisted of religious psychobable. Pretty bad timing with the what happend in Japan to. In the movie there's a tsunami that kills roughly 100,000 people in the begining sequence. It's also very hard to take psychics seriously to begin with, it's even harder when Matt Damon pretends to be one.

I saw Battle:LA and while I enjoyed it for the most part.

I hated the aliens.

Why come to colonize a planet and not send out the best of the best to do so?

Why is it that our little earthly weapons can pierce alien armor?
Spoiler for Alien Stupidity:
Those aliens were so stupid to the point that there is a scene where the alien picks up a grenade like "oh what's this?" and gets blown the hell up.

you can check out the second one because they have some good b-movie type actors in it but ummm idk be forewarned that it's pretty horrible in comparison to the first or third one.

Just finished watching this for probably the 50th time;

And as such, here's...

My List Of 10 Things Which Are Awesome About This Film

1. Kurt Russel
2. The soundtrack
3. The monster
4. The transformation scenes that accompany it
5. The photography
6. The ending
7. The pacing
8. The acting
9. "Yeah, fuck you too!"
10. Kurt Russel

Bring on the prequel

It's no walk in the park, that's for sure. Looks absolutely stunning and all, but it's far from a favourite of mine.
