Last thing I saw was Jackass 3d probaly one of the most disgusting movies made so far. I think they tried to hard to be funny in this one. But they did have so funny stuff in it.

and a great soundtrack, too.

I got Netflix over the weekend, now I don't know how I was able to function without it.

Medieval? Check.
Blood and guts? Check.
Religious overtones? Check.
Decent cast and director? Check.
Fantastic little gem of a movie?...oh bollocks

Some great ideas both visually and thematically but it is all rather turgid and underwhelming.

One day someone will make a balls out Medieval romp that I will like.

I love that movie because it makes me think of home. I use to walk by that community college that Robin William's character teaches at every day on my way to my internship when I was in college.

despite its cheesiness, it's still quite likeable. which i found surprising.
far more enjoyable than i thought it'd be, i actually expected the dialogue to be extremely retarded but it exceeded all expectations.

last film i saw -

ryan gosling really is a terrific actor.

I have been on an Inception kick lately. I also have North By Northwest sitting around from Netflix, and I'll get around to watching that in the next few days I hope.
