yeah Jay Chou is pretty awesome and a major scene stealer.
after CJ7 (which was a pile of crap), I feel Stephen is.... (he hasn't made another movie since)

the one Stephen Chow made after Kung-Fu Hustle - it's not a good kid's movie - every good kid's movie should at least have something for adults like the Pixar movies

even then, I'd think most kids didn't even like CJ7 that much - they certainly won't be able to empathise with poverty if their parents can afford to take them to the cinema

that's messed up to call him washed up for doing a kids type movie though. Jackie Chan has done several of them. The Rock did one or two of them. It's just a part of their career do to something for the kids. I'm surprised that Jet Li hasn't done a kids type movie yet.

Hmmm .. The last Mummy movie was kinda for kids, wasn't it? I haven't seen it, but I saw a trailer and it looked a bit Disney-ish to me. And there's the movie Forbidden Kingdom where he plays against Jackie which is also somewhat kid friendly I believe.

he was still a serious badass in the Mummy film though and in Forbidden Kingdom, yes it was pg-13 but I mean more kids type movie like say....he plays a nanny and has to take care of kids or something along that nature.

A problem with Jet-Li is that even when compared to Jackie Chan, once he steps out of his comfort zone playing the generic kung fu hero, he is a horrible actor

Arnold could do it, but Li ain't got the chops I think.

very true and he has decided to retire from being the generic kung fu hero so it's going to be horrible acting for the rest of his career.

Jet Li did some Chinese drama/romance which nobody out of China was interested in - it wasn't even shown here
