I enjoyed it. I know people that watched the animated series was highly annoyed with it but since i'm a beginner it was fine with me. At the end of it, I wanted to see more though. I can't wait til Book 2 Earth comes out. The Fifth Commandment This was a great straight to dvd action flick. Rick Yune is pretty badass

It was alright. Going into it I thought that I wasn't going to like it just cause I assumed they were going to put scenes of "abnormal" behavior for old people which is lazy humor to me. Even though they did have a few moments like that I still thought that the movie was okay and had some decent moments in between. Weird choice for cast to, but it was alright. |

what? Akira IS a masterpiece and classic. it set the standard for all anime that came out after it.

Did you manage to follow the plot? Not saying you have a trouble with your attention span, but it's a long movie with some intricacies (just what is Akira?) and I suspect it won't seem like a masterpiece if the story throws you off.
