Watched a LOT of movies over the past 3 days:

One of the darkest comedies I've ever seen, but hilarious. It's about three sisters, and their families screwed up lives. It's kind of a masterpeice. if you haven't seen it, watch it! Awesome poster too. 10/10

Devil:
Basically 5 people are in an elevator and one of them is the devil. It's pretty terrible, it has a crap ending, and bad acting. Don't watch it. 3/10

http://www.joblo.com/newsimages1/frozen%20poster1.jpg

It's about 3 people who are stuck on a ski lift, and no one knows they're up there. In the beginning, it looked pretty good but it turned out not so great. It could have been good, but the acting held it back. Parts that were supposed to be scary were funny. Not so bad, but not that good either 5/10

It was quite good. The two Asian kids were terrible actors however. 7/10

I thought pretty much exactly the same thing. With better writing and directing as well I reckon it could've been a much better film - the concept of the whole thing had a lot more potential than it actually showed.

And the first film I watched in 2011 was...

^ It stars Reece Shearsmith (one of the League Of Gentlemen), therefore it's immense by default. Apart from that, Andy Serkis does a superb job in the other lead role. The acting's out of the top drawer, the dialogue's sharp as nails, the character's are thoroughly three-dimensional without drowning out the plot, and the gore is pretty damn nasty. It's one of those horror movies that balances humour, atmosphere and gore perfectly. Excellent movie.

Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan

Believe it or not I have just now seen this for the first time. Omg, I cried laughing. Looking forward to seeing Brüno now.

Yeah great film and actually quite menacing in the last half hour plus that woman from Brookside whose name I can never remember has a great rack ;)

Watched this today. I haven't seen it since taking the kids to see it on cinema release. Very decent and the relationship with Eve and Wall E is very well done without resorting to mawkishness.

I caught the last hour or so of that on BBC1, and I really liked it as well. My only regret is that I ended up watching Indiana Jones and the Kingdom Of the Crystal Skull on the same channel about an hour later...

I have seen the new indiana once already and I wasn't about to submit myself to another helping today. That film is quite frankly awful.

I was actually going to go into a bit of a rant about how rubbish it was, but I couldn't really be bothered. It was a huge let-down though. Totally unnecessary sequel and a great way to ruin the only consistently-good film trilogy I can think of (even the Temple Of Doom was pretty badass, despite its weaknesses).

Temple Of Doom is actually my favourite! The Last Crusade doesn't really do it for me but I know I am in the minority here.

Agree that we didn't really need this fourth instalment. It just doesn't work at all.
