this documentary about the "Ozploitation" boom of the 60s and 70s was incredibly good....and really made me realize just how ignorant i am to Australian film....i think out of the hundred or so films they covered i had seen three....and that might be an exaggeration... this documentary has doubled my must see movie list...esp. Razorback...about a giant boar that attacks people....and Turkey Shoot....a post apocalyptic/prison/human hunt movie i suggest this for anyone who enjoys classic exploitation films....or wants to see exactly what films Tarantino really pay homage to in his films....there were many in this |

All great movies! My favorite is probably Night on Earth, but I like every movie I've ever seen by him and I've seen all his movies except The Limits of Control and Permanent Vacation.
That movie is fucking fantastic! Well worth your time. |

Das Experiment A pretty good and exciting film about the social and psychological experiment set in prison. I read it's actually based on the real Stanford prison experiment from 1971. In essence it's an old story about corruption that seemingly irresponsible power inevitably brings. I hear there's an American remake, but I think I'll pass despite Adrien Brody and Forest Whitaker.

Every Friday we have to watch a movie dubbed into Arabic. Last week it was my turn to pick the movie. I was angry at a girl from my class so I picked this just because I knew she hated it the funny thing is that some girls actually enjoyed it

Ok...now I'm not trying to say this was a fantastic movie. But, I did enjoy watching it, and I gotta give Dwayne Johnson props. He's slowly getting a little bit better with each movie. It was almost good enough to make me forget about "The Scorpion King".
