Visitor Q by Takashi Miike Yeah I'm on Asian movies kick. Crazy film, but very entertaining, hilarious and disturbing at the same time. What's the 'moral' of this story? Maybe something like: When the mother is happy, the whole family is happy (regardless of the ways that's achieved ). Well, I'm sure more underlying ideas can be picked up from this film, but the last shot of the film, that is on the cover actually, is somehow stuck in my mind.

glad you liked it
while on your asian kick be sure to watch Tears Of The Black Tiger....i'm curious as to what you'll think of it i watched this last night...and must say it is as bad/good as i thought it would be...uber violent, very simplistic plot, useless characters, and hilarious acting....it was a perfect ode to bad 80s action flicks |

Yeah I watched that recently too, but I read the book sometime back in 2004 so I already knew what was going to happen. It was kind of nice to see Scorsese do a more simple film though and it was well acted.
