Saw the new Harry Potter movie on Thursday night and have to say it was pretty good. It followed the book about as closely as any Harry Potter movie prior but they still messed up a couple key parts. Regardless it was truly an enjoyable piece and I can't wait for the conclusion in July because thats when all the good stuff will happen.

Watched this last night. It's a movie about best friends who meet for the first time in years. The other guy is now married and planning to have a baby with his wife. The other guy is a world traveller and artistic free spirit. They get drunk and hear about a festival for artsy erotic films. The guys decide (drunk) to do their own porn where they bone eachother to enter the festivals film competition. The next morning when they sober up neither one of them wants to back down from the project and they both start to have an inexplicable urge to go through with the plan. It's weird how a movie about two straight guys trying to bone eacother could be this funny and intelligent. I really liked it. |

Nope, not seen that one. May have to get round to it at some point.
Last film I watched: Brilliant, probably my favourite Al Pacino performance. The running time was just right, it built up a lot of suspense for the climax. |

Unfortunately, yes. I had the misfortune of being dragged to watch it instead of Jackass 3D. Although I'm assured the film got better when I fell asleep (which was about mid-way through Robert Downy Jr and the guy from Hangover "acting" in the toilet. Although I did find myself laughing at one point during the film; when Robert Downy Jr gut-punched a kid.

Ôdishon aka Audition I've finally watched this film. Hearing so much about it over the years, it felt like I've already seen it and that kind of put me of from actually watching it. I wish I'd seen it when it came out and not knowing anything about it, the impact would've been much stronger, I'm sure. But, nonetheless, it's a pretty good movie and one that would actually benefit from the second viewing, because it's much more complex than it seems at first. Thinking about it, it doesn't really matter what you know about the film going in, hell, the 'twist' is already revealed in posters and taglines. I was actually trying to find the least revealing picture to post here, but since I couldn't I posted the most striking one. Poor little girl, she just wanted to be loved

thats bull****....she had plenty of love in that sac
i can understand what you're saying....when i saw Audition all i knew is that this guy would be the next Argento....and right from the beginning it comes off as a possibly dull film....and then possibly just an intriguing film about a lonely guy (by this time forgot what o was supposed to be watching)...and the the bomb drops....definitely one of my favorite Japanese films |
