I've still not got around to seeing it.
It's a bit of an epic, I need to make sure I'm really in the mood for a 3 and a half hour Samurai film.
I only started to get into films when I was 16 or 17, I've covered quite a bit of ground in 2 years or so.
Even when I was like 14 I was watching shit like Click thinking it was one of the best dramatic tear-jerking twists I'd seen.
Fail.

Austin Powers Goldmember?
I liked the first, and the other 2 hold sentimental value but they really are piss poor.
And Minority Report, despite its plot holes is a pretty engaging film. But the length doesn't justify itself.
Pretty decent film, all things considering.
I only went because my sister was going through a Donnie Darko/listening to Nirvana phase and wanted to go and see it, so I went along.
Best out of a pretty bad bunch I'd say.

Exact same sentiments with the 40 Shrek films.

For the record:

I love Minority Report and don't care what negative things TCS has to say about it.

Goldmember is the shit.

I never, ever wanted to see Scooby Doo or Cats & Dogs. I was too busy seeing Catwoman and Rush Hour 3! :D

I have no idea what Seven Samurai is...

saw it last night and i have to say that so far out of all of the movies this is the best....they chopped up the book a little(as always) but still followed it quite well....it was intense, funny, sad....pretty much everything one would want out of a blockbuster....i will see it again....i cannot wait for July to come....also it (Part 1) features Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds :)

It was pretty good. I got a good sense of the period throughout the film.

Are they in the next HP movie or something?

bob. 11-20-2010 02:31 PM

sorry that came out wrong

during this movie (part 1) while all sad and upset about things Harry and Hermione are listening to the radio and Nick Cave comes on....i think the song is O Children....and Harry and Hermione dance to it....as a way to remember happiness....kind of ironic really :)

^Good enough for me.
Turns out HP has been in theatres since Thursday!
Will be going in the next few days for sure.
