I just watched this again the other day, the scene in the incinerator still makes me tear up a little bit.

So why watch it then? Adam Sandler has generally sucked for years. Time to spread those wings and look around a little.

It's funny I didn't even make those connections till you brought it up. The Big Lebowski is very much a parody of it.

The Randy Newman song got me. Really reminded me of growing up...

One of the funniest movies that I've seen in a while, wow. I haven't laugh that much in a really long while. Loved it all the way through and I'll definitely fucking recommend this to anyone. Pure comical class.

Don't recommend it to anyone, I couldn't last the whole film.
Everything I hate about film = Due Date.
Horrible, absolutely horrible.
I wanted some light watching, few laughs and I couldn't even get that.
It was dreadful. How did you enjoy it? I couldn't fathom how that could appeal to the mentality of a human being.
Maybe you're a subspecies! *STARES*

it seems like usually I can see whether I would like a film or not via the trailer. due date looked awful from my trailer test.

I wanted Forgetting Sarah Marshall/Superbad/Hangover, a few laughs but nothing particularly memorable or interesting... Due Date was horrible, it looked quite bad from the trailer but I was on my man-period and wanted something easy going. I turned it off and put on Dead Ringers, best decision ever.
