I was thinking while watching - "this is one to show the kids some day."
I wouldn't necessarily class it as a "children's movie" as such, just because it's animated.
Really enjoyable fun film though.

Meh, I didn't find it all that predictable. I guess you saw what Raoul did coming too.

And I believe I originally worded it as "one of the best movies I have seen in the last six months", which is true, although I haven't watched many movies in the last three months since I got back to school. The Hurt Locker was probably the best I watched all summer...

One of the best films you've seen in months? -> One of the best movies you have seen in the last six months... what's the difference? Apart from a more specific time stamp.

6 months and Panic Room and The Hurt Locker are two of the best?
I need to get round to watching THL come to think of it.
Shall I watch it now or listen to music?
If I watch THL, in the last 14 hours or so I will have watched 4 movies.
Hm, decisions.
But yeah Panic Room was shoddy, the only Fincher film I'm yet to see is Alien 3. Panic Room is my least favourite film from him.

Fight Club > The Social Network > Seven > Zodiac > The Curious Case of Benjamin Button > The Game > Panic Room.

The difference is that "best I've seen in months" implies it is *the* best over a period of time, while "one of the best" means among the best, but not specifically #1.

Go outside or something.

I still need to see The Social Network and Se7en while I'm sober. I've seen Alien 3 and I don't remember it standing out particularly well compared to the first two installments of that franchise...

Even if you consider it a top 20 film over the last 6 months, I'd still question it. Poor film, definitely style over substance.

You haven't seen Se7en?!
I can forgive The Social Network, because it hasn't been out long but Se7en is a must!
I can't believe The Social Network is my second favourite film by Fincher.
I'm yet to see Aliens (James Cameron), I really need to watch the rest of the Alien franchise. The original is one of my favourites.

You still haven't helped me decide whether I can be bothered watching The Hurt Locker or not. Useless boy.

Watch it. It's intense.

I've seen Se7en but it got hazy as it went on haha.

I'm studying for an accounting quiz...

What?! No way. Zodiac and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button sucked. Alien 3 was better than either of those, and it used to be his worst movie.

I really liked Zodiac, but we've already been down that road... *shrugs*

Zodiac and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button did NOT suck.
I haven't seen Alien 3 yet, but they were great films.
Zodiac was a little CGI heavy, but it was a really great mystery thriller.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was just lovely. I don't get any hate for it whatsoever.
