Despite the cover looking like a traditional British gangster flick, this is nothing of the sort and is instead a low key character study of someone involved in the drug business. Didn't quite press the right keys for me but the ending was worth it.

Yeah the title is crap but it does make sense. Although it's a horror comedy it is more of an affectionate tribute to British comedy and although flawed, it does have a certain charm and the 40 min documentary extra was a really good watch regarding the making of the film which was basically a good laugh for the team (crew and actors) in between recording the TV series Boon which was a late 80's/early 90's staple over here. The love of cinema and independent film making definitely shines through.

Of course it's cheesy as fuck! That's the whole point and it still hold's up fairly well despite at least half a dozen viewings over the years.

Yes. Do this.

Though it's not quite as awesome... the grandmaster flashbacks and coffin scene = mm mm good.

Speaking of which,

Finally. And it was pretty much everything I wanted it to be.

I still haven't decided if it's "so bad it's good" or if it's just crap.
