A very well made, intelligent and thought provoking action flick. Mamet has such a way with words.

Ohhhh right. I was just wondering why you said "c'mon leak!" Not premature to call it the best of the year so far, though.

Anyway yeah. I really loved it. :)

SLC Punk is a great movie...you should check out Suburbia....just make sure you get the one from 1983 not from the 90's :)

Everybody laughs when I say that's one of the best films I've seen that year. Definitely not your average martial arts movie...

^Finally watched it. I felt it was complementary to the book. Very different, and having read the book beforehand doesn't ruin the watching experience. Some scenes I would've loved seeing them made onto the screen, still it's all pretty well structured -Which is surprising considering the abnormal narration of the book.

^That Cillian is quite the actress! Anyway, lovely film. Enjoyed it very much.

It is indeed a great movie and well worth a £1 ! The film works on so many levels even though it is uncomplicated in structure and I attribute that to Mamet. Great cast too. Have you seen Edmond written by Mamet and based upon his stage play? It takes it's time to get going but again it's one of those movies that works on so many levels and has another great cast too.

Edmond (2005)

If Werner Herzog filmed the phone book it'd be worth watching, this was way better than I expected.
