Can't say I enjoyed it much. I felt like they were trying to hard with the 3D. I mean, it was ok, but, I couldn't really find myself caring much for it. So I guess the verdict is, this is one you can skip.

A sequel, based on a video game, in 3D. With such a pedigree who could ever have guessed that it would be skippable.

Haha, my fucking brother was so hyped to see this shit, then an hour and a half later I'm like... "Fuck you bro, that was a waste."

I suppose I can see where it might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it was everything I wanted it to be. Definitely buying this when it comes out.

^ It takes about 50 minutes for anything like an inciting incident to happen., which says everything it needs to about this overlong, bloated, pretentious borefest. Dunno why I thought it'd be any good really.

^ Up until that nasty guy with the dodgy eye gets shot about an hour in, I thought this was a really good movie. For the half hour or so after that, I just lost interest. Added cool points for having Ed Harris in it though.

^ This was pretty cool the whole way through though. Re-setting one of the British old-timer classics in the States would usually border on sacrilege (a'la Alfie), but I think it works quite well here. Hard to follow sometimes, what with there being three narrative threads and all, but worth it.

Ed Harris and the violence are about the only watchable things going for that movie...
