Haha, yeah it's not 11 year old friendly. I lol'd at the movie a lot.

Lol, I skipped thru a lot of the more profane parts, including that scene, and the whole "suck my c0ck" thing.

The first time I heard about this one, was when Jackhammer posted about it on here. I have to admit, I just felt the poster was a bit interesting (he posted another version), but nothing more. Some few days ago, when I read the horrible news of Satoshi Kon's death, I researched him and came across that film again. I hate it when I only know about a person just when they die.

Anyway, so I was reading about Paprika, and it turns out to be the film that inspired Ariadne's character (from Inception). So that pushed me to download it... and here I am.

A marvellous master-piece. Surrealism at its best.
This film just pushed itself into my top 10 movies of all times.

^I've been meaning to watch it for a long time. So it's that good? Then, I might see it pretty soon.

^I feel you'd like it. It's the kind of films that gets my imagination pumping again.

Not sure how I feel about this yet. Not your usual crime biopic for sure but it felt very empty emotionally with nods to Kubrick of whom I feel exactly the same. It will need another viewing for sure.

Now I am back on 'normal' time, I am getting back to watching trilogies over successive weekends so watched these over the last 2 Sundays. Can't go wrong on a Sunday afternoon with these can you?

This popped up on cable this afternoon and I haven't seen this film for around 15 years and yes it's pretty awful but it seems to work on a lazy, wet and windy English afternoon.
