^Still have to watch The Magical Mystery Tour. But for now, that is my favourite too.

Watching this now. Godard's attempt to capture the creation process during the recording of the RS's Sympathy for the Devil... and about many other things on the side. Some very interesting scenes on there. Witnessing how the song evolved was certainly cool.

I wonder why The Beatles declined Godard's offer to film them. However, they weren't much creating as a "band" during that time.

Really? I thought that movie was terrible. Too much indie cinema cliche for my tastes.

I didn't think there was a single chiche thing about it, on the contrary, everything felt fresh and original, but not in a forced way. It's just very charming and life affirming. And the soundtrack was awesome...(:

A sweet indie rom-com. It sometimes got too melo-dramatic, but it was funny at other times, and I enjoyed it.
-Woody Harrelson is great as always.

It's interesting how two people can have such different reactions to the same movie. To me it felt like just another product churned out by the "21st century quirky(TM) movie" factory.

It's quirky, but unlike say, Wes Anderson films, it's not quirky for quirkiness sake.

I always felt there's something fascinating about the guys "hanging out". With the girls it just feels serious and boring, and never felt a bond connecting the group.
Anyway, I loved the film. I had some laughs at parts, I was moved in others. Plus I completely familiarised with this 1959 society. In this part of the world, it's still in a way like this: You talk with the guys, and I really don't know what's the girl in there for.

One film I have never got around to seeing for one reason or another. It's one of those films that merits a viewing but always gets pushed to the back of the queue.

Unlike Wes Anderson films it's not good. :p:

I cannot stand Wes Anderson films. 'Quirky' films with nothing to say annoy the crap out of me.

Surprisingly witty and funny. Very well paced for a movie of it's type. 8/10.

Eh, the acting was decent enough, but the storyline was meh. 6/10.
