Ahhh, that's why she thinks I'm rude. Because I called her out for giving every movie a 10/10...

You know, I feel like you of all people would really appreciate a show like The Savages. Just because I think you would enjoy the realism of it all and the strong truthful points it makes.

I wonder how I'd react to Cool Hand Luke. Maybe a little sad, because I've always thought my dad looks a bit like Paul Newman. Handsome devil!
Oh I insist you watch it, I think you would be happy if you did. Its not like the other two, but its just a classic that has really stood the test of time.
And handsome devil is right. My my my. Two hours of a rebellious and also very grubby sweaty Paul Newman digging ditches and swinging grass blades in the chain gang. How bad could it be?

Say, your affection for these rustic men in movies makes me wonder if you ever read the novel called The Virginian? The Virginian (novel) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. It was my mom's favorite romance book when she was younger (and so I read it, of course) and features this stoic kind of loner man who has a very steady and deep love for the woman in his life, though the main focus appears to be his own character development. I thought maybe you might like this book because you seem to like movies and songs with a strong, clear feeling to them, and men who are a mixture of strength and expressiveness. Also, it's an old book (1902) and you seem to appreciate history!
I've never read it but you're right, I do love old books. Never really been one for romance novels, but this sounds like it has a little more going on than the average Danielle Steele plot. And I do have a soft spot for Westerns so thanks for giving me the heads up on this I'll have to hunt it down.

Hey I'm glad to assist! I love spreading the word on my finds, and I just KNOW you would like Wendy and Lucy, 333.

Friend decided to have a Friday the 13th horror night. This was one of the films. Apart from having the girl from Zack and Miri Make a Porno in it, it didnt actually look to bad. Until you get to the end, and the biggest anti-climax ever. Just left me feeling like I'd been stabbed repeatedly in the stomach.

I knew I hated horrors for a reason.

I watched Pulp Fiction again. And I feel as though I want to watch it again tonight.

It's just that everyone's so charismatic, it's easy to want to watch it again just to hear some of those famous lines.

It's Rufus Wainwright.

And yours seems like an octopus.
