The Aviator seems a little too dry for me, but I'll admit I should see it. I have Romeo + Juliet on my Netflix instant queue, not sure when or if I'll watch it...

The original Japanese one. I was a bit disappointed by this, i thought it would be way better, but it's still a little bit better than the mediocre american version. Basically nothing of interest seems to happen during the first hour of this film even though there's a weird and creepy vibe, it's not until the last half-hour or so that it actually turns into something tense and interesting. The part where Sadako crawls out of the tv near the end and kills Ryuji is as creepy as f*ck though.

Two thumbs up is very vague. How about rating it out of 5 stars? I gave it a 4 1/2.

I used to love this film in my mid-teens, but woke up to a lot of its glaring flaws on re-viewings. Let's just say it's a good sedative.

And I liked Inception...it demanded a lot of attention, at least on a technichal level...but a common gripe I have with Nolan films is his lack of subtlety. Such an American.

^I remember watching this very often on TV when I was a kid, but never remembering much about it, other than the top 5 lists. There's nothing much to see in it, if you don't know any band, so it was about time I re-watch it. Lovely
A lot of names I ought to be writing down though... It's a whole project.

I haven't read the book actually but the film is a favourite. I love it. Is the book even better?
