I'm on team Keaton here. He's charismatic as Wayne, with an edge of darkness, and very grim as Batman. Bale went a bit more over the top in both roles. As wayne, he's playboyish and cocky, and as Batman, he sounds like he just had throat surgery. It's less convincing imo...but that could be due to script as well as his take on the role. The only downside to Keaton was that he didn't have the physique you would imagine one as rigorous as Batman would have.

American Psycho Reign of Fire The Machinist Batman Begins Rescue Dawn The Prestige 3:10 to Yuma The Dark Knight Terminator: Salvation Public Enemies DiCaprio movies I've seen: Titanic Gangs of New York Catch Me If You Can The Departed Shutter Island Inception If I were to rank them (Bale movies are bolded): 1. The Dark Knight 2. Inception 3. The Prestige 4. Batman Begins 5. Gangs of New York 6. American Psycho 7. Titanic 8. Catch Me If You Can 9. The Departed 10. Shutter Island 11. Reign of Fire 12. 3:10 to Yuma 13. The Machinist 14. Rescue Dawn 15. Public Enemies 16. Terminator: Salvation Maybe I don't prefer Bale as much as I thought. There are still a few DiCaprio movies I need to see. Blood Diamond is on my Netflix queue...
