Memento. Loved it even though it confused me (then again, I had no idea the thing was in reverse!).

I watched The Shawshank Redemption the night before and wow, one of the best movies I've ever seen. It just engrossed me completely. That ending was just... wow.

Have you never seen a non-linear film before? They can be a pain in the arse to work out, but everything should've come clear in the end.

Good choices on films, both classics.

It did come clear, but I need to watch it again knowing how the narrative works, as the first time I was just following the out-of-order plot. I feel if I watch it again then I'll be able to follow the plot more thoroughly

Kind of like Shutter Island, where if you watch it again, you can follow the flashbacks/plot more thoroughly knowing what happens (which was also a really great movie).

But yeah, can't deny that they are both classics. I haven't heard a bad thing against either of them.

Predators.

Meh. Could have had potential but lacked story and not even the action scenes made up for it. Nothing special and I didn't really enjoy it.

I remember starting to watch this ages ago, but I never finished. I bought the DVD yesterday and I watched it today. Brilliant film, so dark and gothic. Betelgeuse is a very memorable character, so funny yet vile at the same time. Really great film, I only have a couple of films left from Tim Burton before I've seen all of his work. :D

Excellent, excellent film. I haven't seen it in a few years though.

He was really good in it, and he was the best Batman fersure.

No idea where he went, I mean I know he worked after Batman, and still works in acting to thsi day. But he never really did anything of any note after Beetlejuice and Batman, but he really seemed like a talented actor in both films. Really showed off his range, to play such different roles. It's a strange one.

He was a really big actor back in the 80s and early 90s. He did a lot more than Batman and Beetlejuice. It's true he sort of faded from view after the mid-90s but he's still around. He's in Toy Story 3 for example.

I thought Beetlejuice was his only piece of acclaimed work, until Batman. But yeah, he's been in a few stuff in the 00s, but nothing really great. After Batman I don't remember seeing him in any decent films or anything. I think he was in Tarantino's Jackie Brown.. and a couple of voice animation roles, that's all I remember him for after he was Batman. Bit of a strange one considering he could actually act.
