What's The Latest Film You Have Seen?

Point Break
Another movie I've been meaning to see for about 20 years. It was pretty much what I expected: decent action and made me nostalgic for California. The ending was pretty silly but overall it was enjoyable.

Memento. Loved it even though it confused me (then again, I had no idea the thing was in reverse!).

I watched The Shawshank Redemption the night before and wow, one of the best movies I've ever seen. It just engrossed me completely. That ending was just... wow.

Have you never seen a non-linear film before? They can be a pain in the arse to work out, but everything should've come clear in the end.

Good choices on films, both classics.

It did come clear, but I need to watch it again knowing how the narrative works, as the first time I was just following the out-of-order plot. I feel if I watch it again then I'll be able to follow the plot more thoroughly

Kind of like Shutter Island, where if you watch it again, you can follow the flashbacks/plot more thoroughly knowing what happens (which was also a really great movie).

But yeah, can't deny that they are both classics. I haven't heard a bad thing against either of them.

Predators.

Meh. Could have had potential but lacked story and not even the action scenes made up for it. Nothing special and I didn't really enjoy it.

I remember starting to watch this ages ago, but I never finished. I bought the DVD yesterday and I watched it today. Brilliant film, so dark and gothic. Betelgeuse is a very memorable character, so funny yet vile at the same time. Really great film, I only have a couple of films left from Tim Burton before I've seen all of his work.

Excellent, excellent film. I haven't seen it in a few years though.
