12 Angry Men
Fantastic movie. It just goes to show with good writing and good performances the simplest premise and setting can be turned into something amazing.

The poster is pretty silly though. "It EXPLODES like 12 sticks of dynamite!" lol

Nothing to spank yourself over, it was just as bad as most were probably expecting, but they still kept the classic 'pull your ****ing brains out via your spinal cord' maneuver that so many seem cherish in the their hearts.. and the Gatorade commercial-sque blood spillage was pretty cool.

They're showing this here (Austin) this weekend and Brody will be in the audience and probly taking questions later. I was invited but not going (not that I don't want to - it's just a pain in the ass)

Eh, with Rob Rodriguez's name tied to it and Adrien Brody starring I wasn't expecting a complete disaster. It's holding strong at 66% right now on RT. Personally, I'm excited to go see it, but that's tomorrow night's adventure. As for tonight:

Hell yeah, more Austin. I declined to see this at SXSW but now I'm pretty intrigued.

That poster is still better than any I've seen made lately (see above)

It was pretty decent I suppose, not one I'd watch again though.

Can honestly say I wasn't disappointed. It was lacking a bit in story, but I really appreciated that it wasn't over-run with special effects. Visually it was simple but that made it feel more like the original Predator movie imo, and more real (well, as real as being hunted by an alien race on an alien planet can be).

Rush: Beyond The Lighted Stage. Cost use 30 bucks! But well worth it!!

Personally I can't stand them.

Shaky, The Office camera work? Whatever, I enjoyed it. It was funny but not stupid funny. It felt real, and that's what made it special...

Yeah it has that type of camerawork, and the actors usually mumble their lines. Most of the movies are about awkward 20-somethings relationships, so Cyrus is kind of different there. Don't think I'll be checking this out, but glad you enjoyed it :).

A very predictable movie it was only a matter of deciphering what was reality and what was fantasy. Just okay.
