I think I'll have to re-watch the film to fully grasp the explanation, but yeah this seems about as lynchy as could be.

There's another post on previous page in spoiler tags, too, where I tried to answer some CunningStunt questions...So, maybe you'd find it interesting (if you haven't read it already).

Revisited this one earlier today as well. Goes to show that all you need to make a great film is an intelligent, witty script and two terrific leading performances.

Been meaning to watch Before Sunrise/Before Sunset for ages now. I've just never got round to it? Are they both good?

Yes indeedy! Both great films, although I do have a slight preference for Before Sunset. Not to compare them to the Godfather trilogy, as they're of course nothing alike (or are they ;)), but like that series they work a lot better if you set aside enough time to watch them both back-to-back.

That sounds like a challenge!

I may however have to watch one per night, unless Before Sunrise is so enticing I feel I must watch the sequel. They seem like romance films that aren't cliché chick flick... Interesting.

Funny you mention that. I just got that very movie in the mail from Netflix yesterday. I'm really looking forward to seeing it.

Both of them (the sequel in particular) are very dialogue-heavy and don't centre themselves on a lot of action and events at all, so you'll need your attention span turned up to 11! Before Sunset is probably something like 95% dialogue after all.

It sounds like it'll either be wow, what a brilliantly written and well cast film.

Or :snooze:

I'll make sure I'm really in the mood for a film before I watch them both. It won't be tonight, my attention span has gone. I'm in the mood for lolcats, not heavy dialogue.

Just read. Great explanations. It's those mysteries that I love in Lynch's movies.
Part of what I like in Christopher Nolan movies'.

You're one of the greatest adds of 2010 MB btw.

Glad I could help, although it's just the way I saw the movie. The feelings and associations we get when watching these kinds of films can hardly be expressed in words. And thanks for the compliment. I'm blushing now :o:

It's good to find another avid film-lover.
It might be the way I understood the film, it's just that I forgot everything about it.
