Ha ha, I feel the same. I have one Chabrol film somewhere in my computer, À double tour, and I still haven't seen it. I always end up watching something else, but I have a feeling I would quite like it. So I have no idea why I still haven't seen it.

I know people who went to high school with him, and I met him once before he was famous years ago. He was promoting a local theatre production or something like that! He's from the next town over but I'm pretty sure he doesn't live there anymore.

Jesse Eisenberg is gewd. Adverntureland was great. Fantastic soundtrack.

Oh man! This totally goes against everything I wrote about female sexual preferences in Boo's gender thread :p: I can see why someone would want to mother him, but not how anyone would want to be the mother of his child. Well, he's rich of course, but aside from that.

The last time I went to the DVD shop I bought maybe 10 Chabrol films, still the one I watch is the one I stumble upon it on TV. Never was able to take the decision of watching one, there's something about this man...

^Now that I think of it, I also didn't understand much. But I also remember not caring for an explanation. It's great just the way it is.

"Sometimes I like to remember things my own way, instead of the way they actually were." I think that's a key line, but I don't know.. it was good, but I need an explanation.

How bout you watch it again?

It wasn't that good for a second viewing, it was weird and trippy and I like that about films. But I think it was the same type of situation as Mulholland Drive. Except Mulholland Drive >>>> Lost Highway.
