I've heard a lot of good things about Manhunter and still haven't watched it, so I'll make sure I get round to it sometime soon. Quote:
Plus I don't think box office success necessarily equates to a great film, but that's just me thing. |

A very nice purchase alongwith The Dark Knight for a total of £8. Love Michael Caine and this is so funny. I hadnt seen it in years and so very much enjoyed it earlier today. |

It did give birth to arguably the most fun football chant ever as well, which is cool in my books |

a friend saw it earlier and told me that it is just like Sex and the City the Arabic way, so I really expected it to be shallow, but I quite enjoyed it, and I can say that it is one of the better movies I have seen this year

Shallow might be the last word I'd use to describe this movie. I might even say it's over emotional. It revived in some way the local industry. At least, for the first time in post-1975 Lebanon, a film doesn't talk about the Lebanese war, but the Lebanese society, and quite genuinely. So I should say, it has become a classic. Finally a movie we can incorporate its dialogue in every day life jokes.

I'm trying to remember the name of a movie I saw awhile back and I figured I would just ask in here. It pretty much revolves around a guy and his daughter. Some guy keeps talking to and visiting his daughter while she's outside and he gets worried and blah blah blah. At the culmination of the movie him and the cops have the girl playing (while they keep watch) in a river and wait for the guy to come. It then switches to a shot of something hanging from a rear view mirror while you see the back of a man's hands on the wheel. After a long time of waiting they call it off and go home and then he's all angry saying he'll show up and such. It was a weird one.
