Bit of a mindfuck but a really good film nonetheless.

I've loved that movie since it came out, but I really found that moving to Philadelphia gave me a fresh appreciation of it.

I always put Brad Pitt in the same bracket as Tom Cruise, overrated average actors. But I watched a couple of films and he really changed my opinion of him, this performance just adds to it. I love mindfuck films like that.

Have you seen Kalifornia? That's a pretty good one for changing people's image of Brad Pitt. Pretty intense flick also featuring several pre-fame famous people (Brad Pitt, David Duchovny, Juliette Lewis).

I actually think he's kind of an underrated actor because so many people see him as just a prettyboy. It's true a lot of his movies in the past decade have been crap but he did quite a bit of decent work in the 90s (Johnny Suede is another good one, if you enjoy kind of weird movies).

I was thinking of Kalifornia, but I heard pretty mixed reviews about it. (Both from critics and friends, I'm guilty of going off critics they're a time saver, saves me from watching films I find interesting that end up to be crap, which happens too much..)

But I might watch Kalifornia just because Brad Pitt's performances have really impressed. I think his looks do go against him, but he's been great. Seven, 12 Monkeys, Fight Club, Burn After Reading, Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, Inglourious Basterds. Impressive body of work there.

I watched that once...but it was a horrible copy of it, and it made the entire thing seem cheesy. (still not quite sure whether it was the video quality or not)

Anyway, on an unrelated note: that reminds me... don't smite me, but I still have never seen Johnny Pneumonic. I don't know how I'm supposed to feel about that, but I'm interested in whether any of you think it's worth the effort. Yay? Nay?

Is there an actual film or character named that? Because imdb isn't coming up with anything...do you mean Johnny Mnemonic?

Meh, it was mediocre. One aspect that made it interesting was the music industry...
