I'm not really into the Eisenberg/Cera awkward funny thing. Most of the time it's just simply awkward and makes me want to look away from the screen. I like my comedies to have substance and all (and Knocked Up certainly does), but Adventureland just wasn't funny enough... At least I watched it!

I think Eisenberg is good at what he does, even though it's awkward there's a nice innocence about the characters that are endearing, even though you kind of know how things are gonna work out. Yeah, I also found that movie to be pretty lackluster.. With pretty much the exactly complaints as V&F's initial post on it. Its only redeeming quality was the slight 'coming of age' feel to it. It would have been better if they didn't market it as a comedy. Does Kristen Stewart smile?
