A great film, directed by Peter Jackson. Of course the book was better - the movie left out some things I thought were pertinent to the story, but I think you still get the point even if you've never read the book. Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, and the main character (the girl - I don't know what her name is) were all really good in the movie.

The Lovely Bones was fucking terrible. Shite smoothered with a few special effects.

Well I liked it. But I would recommend reading the book over seeing the movie.

I've not read the book but I'd rather read the book, the film was a bit of abomination. I actually felt like I was wasting my time watching it, I didn't even finish the last bit of it as well. I just gave up on it.

100% agreed. my girlfriend at the time chose this to see for some ****in reason and we ended up walking out of the theatre maybe 3/4 through. waste of time.

Die Hard and Home Alone are very similar.
