Been meaning to watch this one for a while now, it was top notch.

Great crime-noir flick! I've been wanting to re-watch this for awhile..

Jaime Foxx and Tom Cruise's characters where really good and honestly drove that movie. i really liked the clashing ideals and mindsets of the two.

Very much so.

Haha. I've heard so much about that but never seen it.

Visually stunning. There were a few things that happened in this film that are puzzling me but I think I have an idea..

Yeah, it's definitely not exactly the easiest film to digest. As I say, I absolutely loved it. It's one I saw at random (along with a lot of other great films) on Sky Indie back when the family used to have Sky. Pretty good channel it was and all.

^ So powerful that watching it feels like being kicked in the stomach.

In all seriousness though, terrific film. Tim Roth, as the poster there says, puts in a truly mesmerising performance in the lead role.

Do you have any idea why the critics were so divided over it? Some loved it, some loathed it. But the people seem to adore it.. Confused me that did. I felt like it was disjointed in places but definitely not a bad film.

It's just one of those films that goes for a reaction, and those are always the most polarising ones. A bit Pierrot La Fou for example (just in a less pretentiously annoying way).

That looks like a really interesting movie. Coincidentally, I've kind of seen a lot of movies with Tim Roth lately (not on purpose, though) so I'll look out for that.

It's trashy as hell and over-the-top ridiculous.
Faye Dunaway is great in it, though. She's definitely chewing scenery, but it's kind of all she's given to do and she makes what would've been an waste of time into something pretty watchable/fun/interesting.

You definitely should. I don't think I've seen anyone play sheer rage in a film as well as Roth does in that one for quite a long time.

I saw Avatar, and it was actually pretty damn good. I thought it was going to be alot worse. I don't know if I'd watch it again, but it was pretty sweet overall. 7.5/10
