^I liked it. Some great scenes in there. Not a classic, but it's a very enjoyable 3 hours movie. I was surprised (and relieved in some way) that the movie didn't become some kind of erotica picture. Unfortunately, I kept thinking of 24, as a young Donald Sutherland is starring in it. The second Fellini movie of the week: ^ That picture was so sublime, at times I felt like crying out of joy. Truly an epic. ^In our Monday weekly university cine-club, we watched a documentary filmed by one of our teachers. Just liked to share that bit of info lol. It's Darson fil Tareekh or A History Lesson (2009). The documentary's about the teaching of the Lebanese History in schools. It talks about the fact that the history of this small country is not unified, and that the official Lebanese history actually stops in 1946, so no one learns about what truly happened from 1947 till now. So it emphasises on these 15 students in 5 different schools learning completely different things. Those were some good couple of days. |

I have come to the conclusion that I enjoy kids movies way more than any other films. |

There is no way for me to begin to tell you how incredibly terrible this movie was. Wait, yes there is...Sam Worthington. Oh, and the fact that they completely changed the story, and left out key characters from the first movie. I was mentally prepared for the new age special effects, but not all the other crap stuff they did to it. |
^
I wasn't even gonna bother wasting my time on that one. Then a friend in college who will like pretty much any shite presented to him said it was 'meh.' So I guessed it was rubbish, I'm going to the cinema to watch Kick-Ass tonight though. :D |

I will admit that Gilliam doesn't always completely hit the mark, but I can't think of another director that makes movies anything like his, especially an English-language director. This definitely isn't his best work, but it's his best work in a while--the cast is fun to watch, it's a least sort of accessible (as opposed to Tideland, which was brutal as hell)... plus, Tom Waits is the devil. |

a western with aliens. it's even worse than it looks. main character was the guy who played Spike in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. he made an awful cowboy. i don't know how it ended, i fell asleep half way through... |
I watched BORAT last night.
|
^ Ugh, I hate Borat! For some reason I liked Bruno though...
Lst movie I saw was 'Up in the air' with my dad (he loves chickflicks, hehe). It was ehh, bad, but I could stare at George Clooney and eat copious amounts of free food and beer, so it was all good. |
