Randomly found the VHS of this lying around the house this morning, so I thought I'd watch it. Not bad at all as it turned out - very well-written and nicely character-driven (I'm a sucker for those kinds of films) comedy/drama, despite a fairly predictable ending.

Good movie. lots of over the top blood but real good action with a decent story

Heh. Nothing says "substance" like putting Jason Statham and Wesley Snipes in a movie together.

As many times as I see it, never gets old. Say what you want, it's a good movie.

Another VHS I found lying around that I thought I'd whittle down the hours with. Turns out it's straight from the Dances With Wolves school of bore (not that I really expected a lot more).

First ten minutes were great...then it just went downhill from there for me. Maybe I would have appreciated the story more if they'd cast better actors.

The last third of the movie looked like deleted scenes from Passion of the Christ

I dig the movie poster though.

This is what happens when you volunteer at the library.
You check out books, movies and music simply because they're THERE.

Technically not a movie, but...

It was alright, and pretty funny in places. A lot better than the dire last series of the stuff, but nowhere near the level of comic greatness the Dwarf's achieved in the past. Needs Rob Grant back as its co-writer.
