I was recommended some movie called Bronco Gentlemen or something like that. Anyone seen it? I don't know, the guy described it as pretty kooky- but he did NOT like Black Dynamite, and I'm not sure if I'm okay with that...

wife was away over the weekend, so i watched:
Mars Attacks (quite amusing. great score) Daybreakers (meh. about what i expected. ending was crap. but entertaining enough) Doomsday (again, stupid ending, but fun to watch. Mad Max meets Escape from New York)

Intact (2001), by J.C. Fresnadillo, the director of 28 Weeks Later. It's a thriller about luck, in some aspects similar to Shyamalan's Unbreakable.
I think it's a great film, and Max von Sydow's performance is brilliant (as always). f you don't trust me, checkout more opinions. Many critics agree with me.

Not bad, but I really don't see Timothy Olyphant as a good fit for that role. Just not intimidating as the character should be.

Pretty damn good with a little offbeat humour running through it and refreshingly free of that cloying sentimental claptrap that can be found in similar films. I was really hoping for this to be stupendous but it was merely adequate. First hour is slow, deliberate and all the more better for it but the last 15 minutes of the film is a mess and a little OTT. Caine is superb in it but again in the last 15 minutes he was hardly around and most of the supporting cast are wasted.
