I also didnt know it was Rated R till I got the theaters from the previews I saw, I was thinking it was a PG13.

I could really see why Kevin Smith Directed this instead of sticking to his normal Script. I say if you like Buddy Cop Movies and Kevin Smith, then this is something you'll enjoy, I felt like it was a Spoof of a all buddy cop movies before it... Kinda like what Tracey Morgan was saying in the beginning a homage.
Kevin Smith is an overrated director and this movie looks like the biggest piece of trash Hollywood has produced in quite a while.

I think overrated should only apply to critically acclaimed directors. Only college retards think Kevin Smith is a good director.

Dream Warriors is just as good as the first if not better. It has some of the best special effects and most imaginative kills of all of the movies.

Including my personal favorite.

Well, a lot of critics seem to constantly praise his talents as a comedy writer and director when he isn't any less hit or miss (or any less stupid) than the Farrelly brothers, whom all critics seem to dispise.

It just makes me wonder how many critics Smith had to blow to get his reputation.

Fantastic film. One of the earliest German sound pictures, and it still stands up today alongside and even beats the crap out of a lot of modern detective and/or slasher movies I've ever seen. Amazingly well-written stuff too.

Yeah, Fritz Lang is awesome, just look at the guy.

Fun fact, Fritz Lang was actually The Penguin.

Actually it is, especially with parts 3, 4, and 5. Those three form a little trilogy together and are definitely best watched in order.

It was cliché ridden yeah, but it was still freaky, the writing of it was brilliant, the way the suspense was built up, and of course the character of Freddie was brilliant, if that was a fresh idea made today, where you could smoother it with gore and special effects it'd be even scarier (considering the writing of it is the same)

I dislike horror because I go from being a rational human being into a 12 year old girl that doesn't want to leave their room (just incase.) do you think it's scary today, if you were to watch it for the first time? I can never tell because I get scared at any scary movie.

They're making a remake this year but it'll probably be really bad.
