They also look very entertaining.

As for Cassavetes, yeah, for my money the most overrated filmmaker of all time. Shadows and Woman Under the Influence, those movies are preeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeety bad.

They just looked kind of lame to me.

Now you're just being contrarian for the sake of it, that's my job buddy.

I don't think the intention was "ooh look at these two losers make a sh*tty horror movie, laugh at them", I think Chris Smith just found them to be two very interesting, likable guys, and they are.

I love this movie, but to each his own I guess.

It was depressing because at you look at all these dude's whose lives are ****ed. His fat friend's brain is obviously melted from some major drug abuse. The main director is a clear alcoholic. They all still live with their parents.

Dudes been a paper boy for 30 years. Don't get me wrong, they're all still loveable, its just sad to see how stuck they are.

So are you saying the reason I thought the movies looked lame when I saw clips of them back in 2001 was because I could magically see your posts nine years in the future and just really, really wanted to disagree with you for no reason whatsoever?

Yeah, that is exactly what I'm accusing you of.

Eh, I wasn't too depressed by it but maybe that's because I'm not much better off than these people so I relate to them a lot more.

But you don't have two kids do you?

can't be spending all your paperboy money on a piece of **** horror when you already owe like a thousand in child support.

Maybe i was looking at the movie too much like gritty reality tv, instead of just a fun look at how hard filmaking is.

It was a little disappointing... It kind of sucked... It was watchable, but I expected more. The acting was OK, the cast was good, but the plot has some major holes and all in all this movie is just one big cliche...

I seen wolfman on Tuesday but never got around to posting about it.

Let me start by saying I liked it, even though it got a lot of bad reviews from critics. I think its hard to work with werewolf's, I find them easily cheesy but I thought they did a good job with it.

I have never seen the original wolfman... So I dont know how close it follows its story, but the story was something I thought of as being pretty basic, I couldn't nail it down but I felt like I had seen it all before. But their was a few throwback shots I liked... I never seen the original Wolfman but I have seen these iconic shots before.

There was alot the shots were CGI (Go Figure) and the shots of the wolfman in costume were well pretty cheesy looking in parts. Some of the parts were people got gutted I thought were not really great either but there were some scenes where I think they used real guts or did a damn good job.

Also it wasn't as Gothic as the preview let out... Truth is I went in the theater expecting something like Francis Coppola's Dracula style.

It was a mix of gothic style but still had alot of studio elements in it.

Now with me pretty much not saying anything I liked about it yet.... Let me say, it was alot more violent then I expected from the same guy who directed Honey I Shrunk the Kids and Jumanji. I really enjoyed some of the scenes between del toro and hopkins, and I kept seeing Hugo weavings as Mr. Smith but it fit considering it was still the guy hunting the main character.

With all that said... I still walked away liking it so did my date, so I think it was a win that barely pulled it off for me.
