Just watched Moon and Zombieland. Equally satisfied with both... They met my exceptions but didnt go above them.
Moon through me for a loop for a second because I kept thinking how ****ed up it would be to in his shoes. Zombieland was a fun zombie movie.... I enjoyed it. |

The last film I saw was Black Dynamite, a 2009 action comedy parody of the blaxploitation flicks from the 70s. The movie is grainy, acting is awkward, plot doesn't always make sense and there's just bucketloads of cool and jive talk and the like. It was actually quite funny. Up until I saw it, I had heard very little about it which I thought a bit weird considering how "standout" it is. Check out the trailer. It describes it perfectly. Before that, I saw L.A. Confidential. I have no idea why I haven't seen it before. Kevin Spacey, Guy Pearce and Russel Crowe are three very different cops investigating a murder case which, of course, turns out goes quite deep. They and the supporting actors do a brilliant job and the movie is entertaining from start to end .. at least it was for me. Warmly recommended to anyone else who haven't seen it yet.

I watched 'The Box' last night with Cameron Diaz...didn't like it, wasn't anything I thought it would be. It got all weird towards the end, very science fiction like.

I saw Zombieland last weekend. It was pretty ****in' funny.
But something I saw that was tripped out beyond all belief was Howl's Moving Castle. ****in' CRAZY!! It got cheesy toward the end with the dialogue, though.

I'm far from being British, but that film is definitely one of the best I've ever seen. You definitely need to watch it again, if you thought it made no sense.

And what do you mean it doesn't make sense? It's a kooky movie but the story is relatively straightforward. |
