.. But yeah, he's pretty convincing as Arnie Grape. My favourite movie with Leonardo in it is without a doubt The Departed. I thought it was brilliant.

What was wrong with Baron Munchhausen? I haven't seen it but it looks awesome.
Actually, so does Imaginarium. Though I admit that Gilliam has lost a bit of his uniqueness by jumping on the CGI train. The effects still look great for that kinda thing and the signature Gilliam look is still there, but nothing beats real, physical effects and it's a shame Gilliam would rather use blue screen now than real sets, small scale models and all that kickass stuff that to me defines what movie making is all about, creating your own world, but nowadays we let the computers do that for us. Watched it twice because, well, I don't know about the rest of y'all, but I just felt after watching it the first time that there were probably a lot of little clues and hints here and there that I missed. Terrific movie. Kinda slow, not for those whose attention can only be held with explosions, chase scenes, and sex. Went and saw this at the theatre. It was about what I expected. I like Gary Oldman and was a little disappointed with this role for some reason I can put my finger on. Mila Kunis did much better than I anticipated though. And I didn't forsee the twist at the end, but then, I rarely do. Good movie, but wait until it comes out on DVD to see it.

I have probably seen this film well over 15 times and I still love it. Gritty, unfussy true life crime drama with a great turn from Roger Daltrey and a good score from The Who. Taking the unusual step of filming through the zombies perspective, it's a film free from one liners, mugging for the cameras and comedy that can pervade the genre. The fact that is also cost £45, yes £45 and is still intelligent, watchable and inventive proves that money isn't always the answer when it comes to film. Sure it has bad points. Some scenes are so dark you can barely see and it's probably around 15 mins too long but this is a staggering achievement. The sound design is superb and some of the shots wouldn't be out of place in an arthouse movie.

It wasn't THAT terrible. It was just...there. If you never see it, it's not like you'll have some cinematic void in your life. lol. But if you're bored some weekday night and need something to do, it's there.
