My assumption seems wrong then :P. I assumed Daywatch would be first ma bad.
I'm pretty sure I'd like Nightwatch though, I have a pretty broad film taste, ranging from cheesy stuff, to what I'd consider an all round good film I'm going to make a point of watching it

A decent action sequence or two aside, I hated it. Totally predictable plot, one-dimensional characters; it all seemed to me like a prolonged excercise in showing off the most cutting-edge special effects possible in this day and age and just didn't grip me at all as a story. That said, I can definitely see where the mass appeal comes from though.

i'm terrified to see that film. even my wife wants to go watch it because of the hype, and she normally hates the genre.

dont' get me wrong, i'm a big fan of sci fi and fantasy films. but i have a strange feeling i'm going to hate that one.

Heh. I wonder where that poster came from? It has the release date for the movie listed as summer 2009.

Hah, I didn't see that until a little while ago. 'Twas alrighty. Some parts were entertaining, some dragged a little, was a good film though. .

I still haven't seen the film but it's good to read a review that doesn't play follow the leader and offers an honest opinion regarding the film. If a film is bad then it's bad no matter how much the film cost or that it changes the face of film.

I think this is the right cover.

I'm currently watching it, only seen a little bit. Too early to judge, but it's been enjoyable so far.
I hope I'm making you proud Jackhammer

If it was the 1985 version then you probably would've... however with the horrible remake... I doubt it.
