Cloverfield 8/10

Great build up, suspense, realism, and sound design. Although there's one scene with the monster that just sucks.

Try LA DOLCE VITA by Fellini and of course 8 1/2. Both his classics.

8 1/2 is still my favorite of his and I haven't seen LA DOLCE VITA in like 2 years, and all I can remember is the opening of it, so i'll probably see that again soon.

If you like Italian neo-realism try ROME, OPEN CITY. Brilliant film in all departments.

Watched Fido last night, twas pretty damn funny. Great twist on zombie horror flicks, would highly recommend it.

By the way, what did you think of those? I watched most of Amarcord but it kind of lost me,
and I Vitteloni is sitting on my hard drive waiting to be watched.

La strada is definitely worth a watch, extremely potent, another extremely memorable beginning by him imo, I would put it on the same level as 8 1/2.
Amarcord- I liked Amarcord, not as much as some of the others but it still had its good points
I Vitelloni-It was ok, one of his earlier films I would see la Strada before seeing this.
