I know Adidasss has recently watched this and I managed to watch it earlier today. Stunning documentary. I urge everyone to see this.

Whats your take on it, guilty or innocent?

It's easy to say innocent due to the complete lack of evidence but their attitude towards being sentenced was very odd. An innocent man (or youths in this instance) would be much more vitriolic and their seemingly disinterested attitudes were very odd.

The thing of note was the character assassinations regarding what music they listened to (metal) and what they wore (black) made me absolutely incandescent with rage. Narrow minded backward bastards.

I have been on this site for a large part of the day: http://wm3.org/

'The Hangover' is 'Dude, Where's My Car?', just repackaged!!

Everything 'Hangover' was done in DWMC:
Characters black out and can't remember the night. Car is gone. Threatening animals (tiger vs. ostriches). Cool cameo that makes the audience go, 'oh heyyy' (Mike Tyson vs. Donkey Lips). Asian nemesis (Mr. Chow vs. Chinese Food Lady "and thennnnnnnn?"). The actress Cleo King as a police officer. Both need to find something to return (Chow's purse with $80k in chips vs. the Continuum Transfunctioner) in order to get friend or friends back from being held captive (Doug vs. hot twin girlfriends). More?

I am not even remotely sober when I figured this out.
Dude Where's My Car was terrible though.

Watched this at a mate's flat the other night, and it was absolutely fucking terrible (not that I expected any better). Strange thing is it's actually a not-that-bad screwball comedy for the first 20-odd minutes before it degenerates horrifically from there.

A buddy of mine from high school had never seen this so I decided to sit down and watch it with him before he goes to Cuba for a semester with the State Department. I've always loved the John Carpenter/ Kurt Russell movies of the '80's and seeing it again only strengthened that love. My friend on the other hand had his face buried in his fucking iPhone most of the movie so every five minutes or so he'd be asking me what was going on. Methinks his phone will be having a little accident if he comes back from Cuba.

Yeah, Carpenter is one of the kings of 70s and 80s popcorn flicks. It's a shame his career went down the toilet in the 90s and hasn't recovered since.

A good film, nothing spectacular though either. To be honest i always find Steve Coogan i little bit irritating but he wasn't too bad in this. An enjoyable account of the Manchester scene all the same.

A small, intimate film based on real life accounts of drug mules coming from Columbia to the U.S.A. Sincerely played by all involved, it's an engrossing underplayed, cliche free drama.
