I thought it was pretty solid, but it was the movie that sort of shattered the glass house with Scarlett Johansson for me. First time I realized what a mediocre actress she was.
Oh and I just finished watching Funny people. I thought it was very good actually, pretty funny, very well written even if it is a bit on the long side (can't really fault it for that, I didn't think anything should have been taken out, it's just kind of a long time to be sitting in one place). The whole Apatow team is excellent, really, I don't know why I'm so apprehensive about his films, I liked every single one of them. One of these days I'm gonna have to give Freaks and geeks another chance... |

as for match point, the Dostoevsky inversion at the end was pretty much the only thing i liked about it |

^ I watched Gran Tourino again tonight because you posted it in here, I wanted to know, did you cry at the end?
|
Nope, I didn't cry. That's not to say it wasn't moving, I just typically don't cry at too many movies. More than anything, the end, the very end when the lawyer is reading the will, made me smile. In alot of ways I thought it was TOO perfect of an ending, but still good.
Did you like the movie then? |
Yeah I'd seen it about 6 months ago, and then I watched it again. I cried haha. I don't usually cry at films.
Also I realised Clint Eastwood is the spitting image of my Papa. :| |
Wow..... Your Dad = Awesome
I loved Gran Torino. |
