That's a Michael Winterbottom film is'nt it? That guy is one of the most interesting British directors around. Have you seen CODE 46 by him. Excellent film.

Eastern Promises: Awesome film

The Kingdom: Entertaining propaganda

The Simpsons: Spiderpig is da shizznit

Shoot 'em Up: Pretty Stupid but entertaining nonetheless

I thought Sweeny Todd was great fun. I loved that they kept the lyrics from the play instead of trying to Hollywoodize it.

I also saw Walk Hard ,, save your money and don't go. I went in with a open mind that it would be funny but I was disappointed

An interesting, if unoriginal first hour is ruined by an uninspiring last 20 mins.One genuinely disgusting scene which even I got freaked out on, and that's saying something! To then find out it was directed by Roland Joffe (THE KILLING FIELDS/THE MISSION) made it even worse. What a fall from grace!
