I've been meaning to get the book for awhile now, so I'll be sure to look into finding a copy. I really enjoyed the film so I'm sure the book even better.. I've yet to see a film outdo a novel.
..and yeah, that's exactly one of the scenes I was referring to. I'm amazed they were even able to pull that off on screen. |

I watched War last night, and I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed.
Girlfriend and I are going to see 9 tomorrow, so pumped.

Just watched The Photograph up at my school. It's a 2007 Indonesian film that's part of the Global Lens film series. Probably one of the saddest films I've seen in a very long time, the ending scene in particular got me a little choked up. In a nutshell the movie is about an attractive Indonesian woman who works as a lounge singer and a prostitute to help support her mother and daughter. She meets an old Chinese photographer who is still grieving over the death of his wife and son that happened decades ago. Without spoiling too much of the plot, it is a very touching movie with some brilliant cinematography.

If you don't know who he is then shame on you and stop reading not quite as funny or gory as it could have been but I have spent worse 90 mins on movies. Campbell is great though and worth at least a watch.
