Thank god for Jodie Foster, or I wouldn't been able to finish the movie. That girl was incredible.

I love that film, one of my favourites as a kid! If i'd have had a cream shooting tommy gun as a kid my childhood i assume would have been twice as good.

^I may have loved it if I was still a kid.
[I used to love Richy Rich with Macaulay Culkin as a kid, kids do love any movie with kids in it]

I'm guessing your talking about Yoko Ono?
They do a really good job at not displaying all of the bullshit that was commencing at that point. I only know this because I just read the Rolling Stones article about the break up and Yoko Ono was one of the lesser issues of the band.

No I wasn't talking about Yoko Ono. I was talking about the 4 knowing from the White Album sessions that they were going to break up soon, cause they just didn't sound homogeneous. Everyone had to go his own way.

I re-watched "I Am Sam" today ... Great movie, great performances ... and very good Beatles covers btw.

Into the Wild.

Such such such a good movie. Acted excellently, the plot carried beautifully. It'll teach you a lot about life and yourself.

The Deer Hunter - Still a pretty damn good fiim, but still not as great as some make out, it is god damn lengthy and feels it, which is the major problem to be honest, Walken is absolutely sublime, as the other main hitters here. 8/10

Loved it. It was great how much of it was ground in what actually happened (despite the odd dramatisation, but that's understandable). My brother liked it and he knows virtually nothing about football, never mind it's history. Says everything really.

Sheen is truly becoming a tremendous actor as well, yeah he's probably limited to British characters, but he's pulled his 3 big ones off wonderfully for me. Top film, obviously some of it's over the top, and arguably a bit of bollocks in there, but it's good, fun, and good rendition of the man himself.

I want to see this film. Probably the only football manager who was a true genius.

"I wouldn't say I was the best manager in the business. But I was in the top one."

"The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years."

"They say Rome wasn't built in a day, but I wasn't on that particular job."
Brian Clough.

The Devil's Backbone.

I went into the movie thinking that it was going to be the typical horror movie that attempts to make you jump every once in awhile but I was sorely mistaken. I don't think she movie should even be classified as horror. I was impressed with it and I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it yet. If you can get past reading subtitles then it's a great movie to watch.
