Well he's not that bad, but like I said, Steiger was just so much better he made everyone else look bad...:\
Plus, there's something about the way Poitier talks I've always found annoying, too much affectation or something...-.-

Unbreakable
Unbreakable.
I watched a vid of Tarantino saying his favourite twenty films since he started making movies. Unbreakable was on it. I loved the filming, the story etc... The twist. I thought some scenes were a bit much; scenes with the girlfriend for example... some of them were cringe-worthy... I watched it with a Swedish guy who talked CONSTANTLY, though. It was a bit much. Love Stephen

I recently saw Teeth out of morbid curiosity at the midway point I just zoned out while watching it. That movie didn't even need to be made. It could've been done in a 30 min episode of Tales from the Dark Side.
I also saw Street Fighter: The legend of chun li. I didn't understand the plot. It was a bit off. At first she narrates and makes it seems like she is above revenge but then at the end of the movie she goes after her antagonist to get revenge. It doesn't make sense. I liked the club scenes and the fight scene in the bathroom but that was about it. I went into watching it with low expectations and good thing I did. I wasn't disappointed in it because of that. |

Bought and watched this today. Enjoyed it for sure and the ending was suitably creepy but I'm not sure whether it warrants another viewing. When I buy a film I like to think that each time I watch it I can get something else out of it and I'm not sure if it impressed me enough to watch again. Well worth a viewing though.

^^Keep meaning to watch it, not interested in the remake. It's been recommended to me but they people always have dubious tastes, lol.

Currently watching Il Buono, il Brutto, il Cattivo which I haven't seen in years, especially not since I bought it.

A little disappointed, to be honest. For the majority of the film I was wondering how certain parts of it were going to be at all necessary, by the end I realised that most of it actually was but still I felt it was a bit of an anti climax. |
