It makes me sad that 'another brick in the wall' was number 1 when I was born.

Still, for my money, the greatest film of all time.

District 9-
The first half an hour is crazy, never seen anything similiar. The rest of the movie is a little more formulaic, reminding me of E.T.

That said, i really enjoyed the movie, and am excited for a sequel.

I finally got a chance to see This is England and it's one of those movies that touched me after viewing it. I had the same feeling after seeing Gran Torino. I rented it but I will definitely purchase it once I get the chance to. At first I just thought that it was a UK version of American History X but I was wrong.

The trailer makes it look like a **** reel. But yours is the 2nd semi-positive review I've heard so I might try and catch it tonight.

Last night I watched Les Poupées Russes, and last week I watched the first part, L'Auberge Espagnole. I really liked these movies.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Yay! I'm glad to see you've given it a decent review. I've been wanting to see it and with alien sci-fi it can really go either way...downhill fast or epic adventure. So now I'm really looking forward to it!
