Yeah, I don't know. I was high though so...the older dude is hot but the whole relationship is weird. It's controversial obviously and I'm not sure where I stand on the whole idea that children can be sexual beings so if it's consensual it shouldn't be frowned upon. I mean I'm pretty sure plenty of guys would say they wouldn't have minded being seduced by a hot chick when they were that age. I wouldn't have minded....but the other side of the deal I just don't get. :\

Ohyah, I also watched An angel at my table by Jane Campion. It was pretty cool.

I have watched this for the second time as of recently and it blew me completely away, again. It's the most moving, powerful and compelling movie I have ever seen. I really love the character Scarlett, I feel like I can almost relate to her, and think she had such a loving connection to the land she grew up on and the man she first loved, she would do anything for them, good and bad. I really miss this type of cinema, and wish Hollywood would go back to its roots of old to make quality pictures such as this with REAL actors and actresses. These days most people don't have a clue to what goes into creating a character and really becoming it.

How can you like Scarlett? I can't stand her. Rhett walking out on her is the most satisfying moment in cinematic history.

I recommend watching this movie at the end of an acid trip. I think that would be amazing. This movie is like gazing and loitering in the unconscious mind of Kurosawa. Oh yeah in color.

Absolutely astonishing. One viewing is certainly not enough. Basically it's a tale about a monk and his journey through life but it's so much more than that. Lyrical and poetic.

^^^^

I did not achieve this position in life by having some snot-nosed punk leave my cheese out in the wind.

Once again another revenge thriller that begins to question itself morally and then has the cliched final ten minutes replete with the aggressor shaving his head, guitar music and flashy cuts. Kevin Bacon is excellent in it but nothing particulary original.

Watched Changeling last night. It was very good, I didn't mind it being two and a half hours. I'd give it 4 or 4.5 stars.

My second favorite out of all the moives. It has everything that makes a good scfi movie good special effects and good story telling.
