Huzzah! We are in agreement. Brilliant adaptation. Try Hamlet next then with Olivier. Kurosawas Ran is also majestic.

I want to see that, even though I'm not his biggest fan.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I saw this movie like 2 years ago when it first came out and forgot about it until watching it last night. Excellent movie, another Coen Brothers classic

Oh you with your sarcasm. Mods, feel free to resize it if it's obnoxious

So would anyone be interested in discussing the actual movie?

Okay, let's assess the situation: who has a problem with the size and who doesn't?

Fine, I'll do it!

This film couldve been better, but that doesn’t mean it was bad. There were parts during the film I thought 'god how much more longer is this gonna take' and then there were other parts I really loved. Also the soundtrack was great. and the ending made the movie worth the slow parts.

Queue the Abre los ojos comments...

OT: The best years of our lives

A bit longish but probably the definitive film about the aftereffects of WWII ...7/10
