Baraka (1992)
Interesting movie. Filmed in 24 different countries, this movie is composed simply of beautiful cinematography and music. There's no narration, no story, nothing like that, but the same time it does have depth. Through the juxtaposition of the imagery there most definitely are statements being made about humanity and our place in the scheme of things. It so hypnotic that it's definitely a movie that would be easy to fall asleep to but if you're open-minded to this kind of movie experience it's well worth watching.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

That poster does a huge disservice to the film. It makes it look like some voyeuristic thriller when it's nothing of the sort. It is quite bloody brilliant though.

it was excellent. the most hilarious and sad documentary about any band, and i've watched plenty, as you can imagine.

definitely, 100% worth it.

it hit home especially for me because i've been to all the locations in the film and i know exactly what they're talking about.
