That reminds me: This is kind of old but this fake trailer for The Shining is pretty funny.

That's brilliant, imagine if that were the real trailer and the reaction it would get when people actually went to see it.

Saturday Night Fever - ***

Entertaining and well done. The theme of this guy who just wants to drop everything in his life and have a good time is something anyone can relate to, and it's done really well. Travolta is great in the lead. And I still love the soundtrack I must admit. The dance scenes are especially great.

But I have to say it, this film is a little mean isn't it? I mean you have the girl who is completely smitten with Travolta's character, but he treats her like crap, goes for some other girl who throughout most of the movie is a cold bitch, then the girl he rejected gets raped by one of his buddies while he just sits there and does nothing, and then he calls her a whore afterwards.

Seriously, what the bloody f*cking f*ck is that sh*t all about?

Whisper it but Van Damme over the last few years is turning into a half decent actor especially in the overpopulated B action movies. The story is a typical revenge film and is a little pedestrian at times but now that he's keeping the martial arts aspect toned down a little more it keeps the film that little bit more realistic.

I bought this on DVD a couple of years back and loved it. I however have a strange approach to films and usually try not too watch them immediately if I really like them! I decided to re-watch this again tonight and still enjoyed it.

Paul Giamitti is such a great actor.

I have to I didn't like them movie very much. It had it's moments but overall it didn't do it for me. Interesting fact though: I used to live in the area where that movie was filmed.

Sideways would have been soooo much better without Sandrah Oh.
She sucks.

I'm ambivalent out her. My biggest gripe about it was that for "the comedy of the year" it wasn't all that funny.
