This movie sucks to say the least.
It has a great cast and nothing to do with them.
I can't believe I finished the whole thing!

I thought this film sucked huge balls too. But then again I did see it before I'd seen any of Kevin Smiths films and so didnt really know who Jay and Silent Bob were.

Kevin Smith is the most overrated filmmaker of the past 20 hears.

Plus he's like an obnoxious internet fanboy who somehow became successful. The way he picks fights with people is incredibly lame, and he's a huge self satisfied, attention seeking douchebag.

I loved An evening with Kevin Smith. Funnier than most of his films...

atonement.

the ending definitely made that movie. I thought the main relationship in the movie left something to be desired.

I've still yet to see Atonement. A lot of it was filmed in my town and so there was a lot of hype for it, which I guess put me off. Not to mention Ikea Knightley.

Why do people knowingly go and see a crap movie?

Mojo 02-17-2009 12:22 PM

Exactly what I was just wondering. A lot of folk seem to be watching it fully expecting to be massively let down.

A lot of people say 'I went with my friends'.

Sorry, but the cinema is one of the least social things you can do. If you want to see a movie, then great. See it, go with your friends. If you don't want to see it but they do, let them go.

A while ago my friends got pissy at me because I refused to see Alexander with them. To this day they still moan about how crap it was when it comes up. I have no sympathy.

Entre les murs - Laurent Cantet (2008) - 9/10

Yes, it really is as good as they say...

Well obviously someone in here never gets invited to the movies. I wonder why.
